Whose landline number is this?

Perhaps you are interested in knowing more than just which company that phone number you have so many missed calls from every day at the same time belongs to, you want to know which person it belongs to. We will give you some tips on how to find out:

  1. The first and easiest thing to do is to search for the landline number on Google. Often a simple search will bring up the owner of the number, or information on internet forums.
  2. The traditional method of finding a phone number is the yellow pages. Although over the years it has been digitalised and we no longer need that big yellow book in which we could spend hours looking for a phone number. Now you just have to go to the yellow pages website and put the number in the bookmark and the owner of the phone number will appear.
  3. You can also try phone search engines. These platforms have a database with millions of numbers of commercial spam callers. If you enter the number and it comes up, it is most likely spam. One site to do this is ListaSpam.

If you don’t want to receive any more commercial calls, you can register online on the Robinson List, where you will have to enter your details, such as your ID and telephone number. Once you are registered, they will not be able to call you for commercial purposes and if they do, you will only have to tell them that you are on the Robinson List and they will stop calling you.
