Before starting the test...

From Axarfusion we inform you of the keys to perform the speed test in the most appropriate way to obtain the most reliable results:

Always perform the test by connecting the cable to your device, never with Wifi.

Close all open programs and make sure there are no other connected devices in the home.

Disable your antivirus and be aware that some operating systems use up to 5% of your line capacity for "network operations".

The results of a speed test and its reliability depend on many factors: connecting the computer to the router via cable and not via Wifi, performing the test at different times of the day, no user using the Internet at that moment…

Although the contracted fibre optic service supports full speed without problems, it is very unlikely that the customer will see this reflected in a speed test, as the physical connections transmit additional data that is not reflected in the test, but takes up bandwidth. This is only true for all fibre connections on the market. The download and upload speed does not only depend on what you have contracted, but also on the external servers you connect to, therefore, most of the time you will not reach 100% of the contracted speed on external servers.
