If in another post we talked about how to transfer data from one mobile to another, today we will talk about how to transfer a call from a landline to a mobile.
When you have an important job, being able to contact you in an emergency is essential and very common, but we can’t always pick up the phone at work and take it home with us. It could be that you are going on holiday or you are just finishing your working day when suddenly a call comes in from work that could be something important and, of course, we should take it. This is where call forwarding comes in. By forwarding the call from your landline to your mobile phone you can take work calls anytime, anywhere (if you want to).
So, how can I forward calls from landline to mobile? Most operators offer call forwarding, and in some cases this option is not free, so we recommend that you first contact your carrier’s customer service department. You should also be aware that the diversion itself costs money, although it all depends on the tariff you have contracted, some of them include it in their services.
From Axarfusion we want you to be as efficient as possible at work, that’s why we are going to show you how to forward calls from landline to mobile and also how to deactivate this forwarding quickly and easily. Here we go!
Forward calls from landline to mobile
Forward calls from landline to mobileTo ensure that all calls to your landline reach your mobile, you must also do the following. Please note that you must have the physical landline.
- Pick up the landline and wait for the ring tone (Piiiiiiiii).
- Dial *21*, your mobile number followed by #.
- You got it!
Example: Imagine your mobile number is 666-555-444, you would type *21*666555444#.
In case you want to forward only some calls subject to conditions you should dial the same as in the previous case, but changing step 1 only:
- *61*, you will receive calls that are not answered on the landline.
- *67*, you will receive calls that are not answered on the landline because it is busy.
Example: Imagine your mobile number is 666-555-444, you would type *61*/*67*666555444#.
Deactivate call forwarding
Do you no longer want to receive landline calls on your mobile phone? Don’t worry, you can also disable this option and it’s as easy as turning it on. You will need to do much the same, but without dialling your mobile number:
- *21*, so as not to receive any calls.
- *61*, so as not to receive unanswered calls to the landline.
- *67*, so as not to receive calls that are not answered on the landline because it is busy.
We hope this information has helped you and remember that not everything is work, sometimes you have to give yourself some time to yourself and disconnect from the routine. Thank you for reading us one more day!
