Our recommended TV series for 2024

Our recommended TV series for this 2024. The intense competition among streaming platforms has turned out to be a real feast for us, the viewers. We enjoy more and more and better content to choose from, although sometimes it seems to be too much, considering that time does not allow us to see as much as we would like. However, it is always preferable to have more options than to fall short. In this era, HBO Max’s outstanding series, which have always been linked to the brand, are undergoing a shift as they become Netflix’s most popular productions. The competition crisis has allowed Netflix to appropriate this content. In addition, national content is gaining more and more relevance in our country’s platforms, with series such as ‘Poquita Fe’ and ‘La Mesías’ sneaking in among the best of 2023. This trend will continue with ‘Red Queen’ on Amazon Prime Video, the third season of ‘Rapa’ on Movistar+ and the second season of ‘Machos alfa’ on Netflix. Netflix’s catalog of series is enriched with the new series from the creators of ‘Game of Thrones’, the adaptation of a science fiction novel that promises to be one of the highlights of the year: ‘The 3-Body Problem’. In addition, ‘Avatar: The Legend of Aang’ follows the live action path of ‘One Piece’ as a live action adaptation of a hit anime, and season 3 of ‘The Bridgertons’ fills the void left by the absence of ‘Stranger Things’ season 5 this year (barring a last minute surprise). HBO Max brings us back ‘The Dragon House’ in a second season that picks up George RR Martin’s story and shows us, at last, the Dance of Dragons. In addition, the ‘True Detective’ saga returns with Jodie Foster as the protagonist in its fourth season. Colin Farrell, as ‘The Penguin’ in ‘The Batman,’ headlines his own series expanding Matt Reeves’ Man-Bat universe, and Robert Downey Jr. leads ‘The Sympathizer’ under the orders of Park Chan-wook. Disney+ continues to bet on Marvel with ‘Echo’, ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ and ‘Ironheart’, as well as Star Wars with series such as ‘The Acolyte’, ‘Skeleton Crew’ and season 2 of ‘Andor’, where Diego Luna reprises his iconic character from Rogue One. Season 4 of ‘The Boys’, Prime Video’s most popular series, continues the adventures of the most irreverent superheroes on the planet. In addition, we cannot fail to mention ‘The Masters of the Air’, the Apple TV+ series produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, which competes in epicness, realism and emotion with ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘The Pacific’. Here are our highlights for 2024:
