How to forward calls from landline to mobile

If in another post we talked about how to transfer data from one mobile to another (link to How to transfer data from one mobile to another), today we’ll talk about how to transfer a call from a landline to a mobile.
When you have an important job, being able to contact you in an emergency is fundamental and is very common, however, we can’t always take our work phone home with us. You may be going on holiday or just finishing your working day when you suddenly get a call from work that could be something important and of course you should answer it. This is where call forwarding comes in. By forwarding the call to your mobile phone you can take work calls anytime and anywhere (if you want to).
So, how can I forward calls from landline to mobile? Most operators (link to Find out which operator a phone number belongs to, step by step) offer a call forwarding service, and in some cases this option is not free, so we recommend that you first contact your company’s customer service department. You should also know that call forwarding itself costs money, although it all depends on the data plan that you have because some plans include it in their services.
At Axarfusion we want you to be as efficient as possible at work, that’s why we are going to show you how to forward calls from a landline to a mobile and also how to deactivate this call forwarding feature quickly and easily. Here we go!

Forward calls from landline to mobile

In order for all calls that arrive to your landline to reach your mobile phone, you must also do the following. Bear in mind that you must have a physical landline.

  1. Pick up the landline and wait to hear the ring tone.
  2. Dial *21*, your mobile number and then #.
  3. You’ve got it!

Example: Imagine your mobile number is 666-555-444, then you will have to type *21*666555444#.

In case you want to forward only some calls and not others, you should dial the same as before, but changing only step 1:

  1. 61*, you will receive the calls that are not answered on the landline.
  2. 67*, you will receive calls that are not answered on the landline because it is busy.

Example: Imagine that your mobile number is 666-555-444, you will have to type *61*/*67*666555444#.

Deactivate call forwarding

Do you no longer want to receive calls from landlines on your mobile? Don’t worry, you can also deactivate this option, and it’s as easy as activating it. You will have to do practically the same thing, but without dialing your mobile number:

  • 21*, to not receive any calls
  • 61*, to not receive any unanswered calls on the landline
  • 67*, to not receive any unanswered calls on the landline because it’s busy

We hope this information has helped you, and remember that not everything is work, sometimes we have to give ourselves a little time and disconnect from our routines. Thank you for reading!
